buildSmart Commercial Interiors is a one stop shop for both ideas and solutions that create truly sustainable office environments. Founded nearly 10 years ago by Mike Muoio, buildSmart was born out of the need for an umbrella of "Best in Class" integrated solutions. Combined with the "pre-buildSmart years", Mike has promoted sustainable architectural solutions for over 14 years in NC. The combined years are responsible for well over 2 million square feet of modular solutions resulting in significant client savings. In a results driven economy, the greatest accomplishment and driving focus of buildSmart is based on what has not happened- the proliferation of commercial waste in our area landfills. A large part of building SMART is educating & providing the design and construction team with viable sustainable options and not defaulting directly to "conventional thinking". We seldom experience a client that lacks interest in a better way. The client simply wants to know how to make it affordable. This is a challenge buildSmart gladly accepts. We realize not all clients benefit the same- those that invest in their people tend to see the greater ROI.
